The City of Budapest has already proven on many occasions how special next year’s FINA World Masters Championships are for the capital.
It is also demonstrated by the fact that the Municipality of Budapest made a decision last November to allow free access to all means of public transport to accreditation holders for the event in August 2017. The Municipality passed this proposal based on the initiative by Balázs Szeneczey Dr., Deputy Mayor of Budapest, responsible for Urban Development.
Public transport is available free of charge for accredited participants of the FINA World Championships to be held before the Masters, between July 14 and 30, 2017.
It is expected that the FINA World Masters Championships in Budapest will be attended by 10,000-15,000 accredited participants, posing an unprecedented challenge and entailing incredible benefits for the City of Budapest.
