Public Transportation

An alternative to commute between hotels and venues or even to visit touristic places could be the public transportation system, which thanks to its network covers the entire city. The below link is a useful tool to plan your travel (iOS application, Android application) and this one to gain information on local travel fairs.

The City of Budapest has already proven on many occasions how special next year’s FINA Masters World Championships is for the capital.

The latest indicator of this is that the he City Council has agreed during a late November meeting to give free access to all means of public transportation to every individual who has accreditation for the Event in August 2017. The City Council has approved this decision based on the indication submitted by Dr Balázs Szeneczey, Deputy Mayor of Budapest, responsible for Urban Development

Free public transportation is also provided for the accredited participants of the FINA World Championships to be held before the Masters, between July 14 and 30, 2017.

The FINA Masters World Championships in Budapest is expected to have 10,000-15,000 accredited attendees, therefore is a never before experienced beautiful challenge with incredible benefits for the City of Budapest.
